Museums on the Air
15 June 2013 at the Spitfire Museum in Manston for the Museums on the Air event. Hilderstone Amateur Radio & Electronics Club operated from the ex RAF base at Manston (Map reference: TR 333665 Lat: 51.35012 Long: 1.34947). Many other enthusiasts from around the world took part on this International Museum’s on the air weekend.

The Callis Grange nursery and infant school
The Callis Grange nursery and infant school asked us back again to do the 'squishy circuits' with their year 2 classes. As you can see, the pupils and helpers had lots of fun!
Bromstone primary school
This was a visit to the year 4 of Bromstone primary school following a request from the teacher who had done work on the Victorian telegraph with her pupils. We did the LED activity and Morse code communication. In May 2013.

National Science Week 2013 at Charles Dickens school
National Science week has been celebrated by the club at Charles Dickens school, together with the Viking Radio Controlled Model Boats club. The pupils constructed crystal radios and squishy circuits.
