Jamboree on the Air
Jamboree on the Air on 20 October 2013 at the Monkton Nature reserve with the 1st Birchington air scouts. We did various radio activities with them, such as fox hunting, Morse code and of course the special event station GB0BAS. (or was it GB2BAS?
Students from the University
Students from the University of Kent are doing their foundation practical of setting up an HF station at the Monkton Nature Reserve. We have twelve of them sitting their foundation exam next February.

International Lighthouse & Lightship weekend
