KW Electronics Talk
K.W. Electronics was a British manufacturer of amateur radio equipment founded in the mid-1950s by the late Rowley Shears G8KW.
It was based in Dartford, Kent, and manufactured a wide range of high-frequency band receivers, transmitters, and accessory equipment including the KW Vanguard, KW2000, etc. The company was taken over by DECCA and subsequently ceased production during the 1970s. Many amateur radio enthusiasts own, use, and collect the brand.
Steve Shorey will be giving a talk on the History of KW Electronics at the club in Margate on the 21st of July. KW Electronics was a big thing in the 60s and 70s. Steve will be bringing a big collection of different equipment.
