Schools Buildathon and preparation for Tim Peake contact

On the Friday before the Tim Peake contact day Wellesley House school hall was filled with pupils from ten secondary schools busy making a radio receiver with the help of Hilderstone radio club members.

Most of the pupils had never soldered before so they did extremely well to complete the kit which they were able to take home.
